**August 2017:**
Professor Norman H. Silverman returned to the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City for a second visit and lecture.
In August 2017, an important MD1World event took place in Vietnam. Professor Norman H. Silverman held a special lecture at the University Hospital of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City (South of Vietnam) and at the National Children’s Hospital (North of Vietnam). This lecture was supported and sponsored by 2 major companies in the medical technology industry: Philips and Viet Thai Company.
This course attracted great interest from many doctors and other medical professionals in Vietnam. It was a valuable opportunity to learn about fetal echocardiography, a young field in Vietnam. This event significantly contributed to raising the level of expertise in fetal medicine in Vietnam and promoting the development of the medical industry there.

Giáo sư Norman H. Silverman giảng dạy tại BV ĐHYD TP. HCM và BV Nhi Trung Ương về “Siêu âm tim thai trong bào thai và tim bẩm sinh,” với sự tài trợ của Công ty Philips và công ty Việt Thái. Khóa học này được đón nhận sự quan tâm lớn từ bác sĩ và chuyên gia y tế tại Việt Nam.
Trong tháng 8 năm 2017, một sự kiện quan trọng đã diễn ra tại Việt Nam. Giáo sư Norman H. Silverman đã tổ chức buổi giảng đặc biệt tại Bệnh viện Đại học Y Dược TP. Hồ Chí Minh và Bệnh viện Nhi Trung Ương với chủ đề “Siêu âm tim thai trong bào thai và tim bẩm sinh.” Buổi giảng này đã được hỗ trợ và tài trợ bởi hai tên tuổi lớn trong ngành công nghệ y tế là Công ty Philips và công ty Việt Thái.
Khóa học này đã thu hút sự quan tâm rất lớn từ phía các bác sĩ và chuyên gia y tế tại Việt Nam. Đây là một cơ hội quý báu để họ có cơ hội học hỏi và chia sẻ kiến thức về siêu âm tim thai và các vấn đề liên quan đến tim bẩm sinh. Sự kiện này đã đóng góp đáng kể vào việc nâng cao trình độ chuyên môn trong lĩnh vực y học ở Việt Nam và thúc đẩy sự phát triển của ngành y tế tại đây.
